Certification for Canadian projects

Electrical equipment in Canada has to be approved before it's energized. We work out the approval path for each line item before you place an order.

Three paths to approval

  • Certification. The product carries the mark of an SCC-accredited certification body, such as CSA, cUL or cETL. A US-only UL mark isn't enough.
  • Special inspection. One-off or custom equipment can be field-evaluated and labelled by an accredited inspection body for a specific installation.
  • Utility qualification. Utility-owned substation equipment is approved through the utility's own technical review and standards.

What you get with every quote

A certification matrix that lists each line item, its approval path, and what has to be done before shipment. You'll know where everything stands before you commit.

Country of origin

Our equipment is manufactured in China by certified manufacturers. We disclose origin on every quote, along with any duties or surtaxes that apply to the line items.
